When is the Comrades Marathon 2018? Date, time, prize money, medals, route & how to watch

The great race is almost upon us with 20,000 runners set to take on the challenge of the Comrades Marathon 2018.

The 89KM challenge will start at the City Hall in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, from there the runners will pass through Lion Park, Camperdown, Botha’s Hill and Winston Park.

The end of the race at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban will give runners their reward for hundreds of hours of training.

When and what time is the Comrades Marathon ?

The marathon takes place on Sunday, 10 June 2018.

Can I watch the race on TV?

Yes, all coverage of the marathon will be shown on SABC2

Badges and Medals will be awarded to all official finishers who complete the full distance within the 12-hour cut-off.
