Did you bought a new Huawei LTE Router using one of South Africa’s mobile networks such as MTN, Vodacom, Cell and Telkom Mobile? Do you want to setup your Huawei LTE Router?
First unpack your router and it must have the following:
- The quick start guide
- The safety information
- 2 external antennae
- Your Huawei LTE Router
- 1 12vDC power supply cord
- 1 LAN cable
Here’s are the easy step-by-step how to setup Huawei LTE Router:
- Remove the SIM card from its holder and insert your SIM into the SIM socket.
Connect the power supply into the router and into a power socket.
Screw the 2 external antennae into the back of your router.
The label on the back of the router has important information that you will need to take note of.
Plug the yellow LAN cable into a port and the cable into the LAN port on your computer
When the power light is blue you are ready to install the software.
The Wi-Fi light will be blue if Wi-Fi is enabled and can flash as data is transferred.
The strength bar shows how strong the signal is.
